Does pervaporation require chemical additives?
No. DeltaMem’s pervaporation technology dehydrates solvents through a purely physical membrane-based process and does not require chemical additives or entrainers. In contrast to distillation, which often requires a third component (entrainer) to separate certain mixtures, this simplifies the process, reduces the risk of product contamination and helps maintain high product purity.
How does DeltaMem ensure that the plant performs effectively for specific solvent mixtures?
Every project begins with comprehensive laboratory testing in our test centre. Using representative samples of your process stream, we verify membrane compatibility, long-term stability and separation performance under realistic operating conditions.
