in process intensification

We do not view a distillation column or a heat exchanger as a standalone component, but as an integral part of the overall process. This system-level approach enables us to design high-performance components.

  • Validated by operational experience: We continuously refine and validate our design software using performance data from our own complex, integrated plants.
  • Full control: We design critical components, such as vacuum condensers, entirely in-house, giving us full control over design, performance and quality.

Design of separation processes

We design and supply a range of individual process components tailored to the specific requirements of separation processes in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries.

Distillation

We design and supply distillation and rectification columns for a wide range of separation applications. Using state-of-the-art simulation software (ChemCAD), we design the optimal column for your process. We validate every simulation against data from our own laboratory to confirm the required number of theoretical stages and optimise the final design.

Evaporation

We design falling-film evaporators and spiral coil heat exchangers for the gentle and energy-efficient processing of your products. The equipment is engineered using our proven in-house software and validated against real operating data.

Stripping

We design and supply customised stripping columns for the removal of volatile components from liquid streams. Benefiting from our experience in process engineering, we design the column internals to achieve product purity with minimal energy consumption.
